On January 11th, 2020, Jiuqu Yellow River lights line commissioning entered the final stage in Gansu. The Jiuqu Yellow River Light Array, an intangible cultural heritage of Gansu Province, is set up for the Spring Festival and will be open to the public from January 29th to February 11th.

The light array is a large-area, expensive, and complex project. Generally speaking, the light array will be held every 20 years. But it becomes an annual activity in an ancient village of Zhangye, Gansu Province. As the Spring Festival is approaching, lights array is already planned and prepared.

This year, the lights array adds not only laser lights, computer lights, and other modern equipment, but also light show, live performance, sitcoms and other new content. It uses 3D effects to show historical and cultural heritage scenes and original appearance.

Gansu Province is the source of the Jiuqu Yellow River Lights. Jiuqu Yellow River Light Array distributed thousands of historical and cultural heritages, and originated in the Yin Shang period. In 2019, Shanghai China Record Headquarters named it "China's largest lights array".
